Personal:
My name is Jerry Mathew. I've lived near Plano, Texas in the DFW since 2003 and I love it here. I have a lot of hobbies varying from playing tennis and ping pong to karate and riding my motorcycle! I like to learn and program in new computer languages. I enjoy thinking of new ideas and inventions, trying social experiments, working with my hands. Many hobbies and interests occupy my time as you can find on the Interests section. I am a member of Metroplex Mini, a local car club in Dallas, Texas. I like to try different things everyday and most of these will be put in my current blog for logging purposes. I have one main blog which can be found on this website, and another less active blog from the past. Education:
II graduated from University of Texas at Dallas in December 2010 with Bachelor's of Science in Computer Engineering. The beauty of this degree is that it combines software and hardware curriculum, instead of being exclusively one or the other. Since childhood I have enjoyed working with my hands and also thinking logically, and so it was just a matter of time until I chose computer engineering as my path.
Currently, I work as a .Net Developer for a loan software company, using C# and WPF. I really enjoy my job! I can program in Java, C#, and C/C++ and smaller languages. I know Microsoft SQL Server and JSP as well. I also make mobile applications on the Android and OS platforms with Flex and Flash Builder.
I do plan to pursue a higher venue of education in the future. My main motto is what UTD has taught me and what I always try to embody, FEARLESS ENGINEERING!
